- Community and travel partner data: If you are a resident at a participating apartment community or book travel through a Gimmzi travel partner, we receive confirmation of that activity to issue applicable badge grants.

- Create and manage your Gimmzi account
- Calculate and display your Gimmzi Balance
- Process deal redemptions and loyalty program activity
- Send notifications about your balance, membership tier, and available offers
- Improve the Gimmzi platform and develop new features

- Prevent fraud and abuse of the rewards program
3. Gimmzi Balance and Rewards Data
Your Gimmzi Balance is a promotional reward currency and does not represent monetary value. All earning activity, redemption history, and balance data is stored securely and associated with your account. This data is used solely to operate the rewards program. 4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With participating merchants: Only the information necessary to verify a qualifying transaction or redemption (e.g., that a scan occurred at their location).
- With service providers: Trusted third parties who help us operate the platform (e.g., payment processors, cloud hosting providers) under strict confidentiality agreements.
- For legal compliance: When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Gimmzi, its users, or the public.
- In a business transfer: If Gimmzi is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you in advance.

We retain your account and transaction data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
